Aliashesh says about him -
Mevlana Jelaluddin Rumi (1207-1273) is remembered as a mystic poet of the Sufi order.
He wrote in Persian and lived in what is now a part of Turkey.
The eight centuries that have passed since his birth have only added to his stature as a World Poet.
This tribute of eighteen verses celebrates the immortal spirit of Rumi.
So come, rejoice and rejuvenate, ye kindred souls!
